Who We Are

Founded in 1934, the Textile Bag & Packaging Association (TBPA) represents a membership of over 50 companies around the globe serving the textile packaging industry. Our members include manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, equipment providers, and importer/exporters that supply bags, flexible packaging, services, and equipment to a wide range of industries both in the United States and around the world.

Our goal is to promote the development and progress of the industries we serve and to act as a resource on matters of common interest. Since our founding, the association has grown significantly in both scope and dissemination of critical trade-related information, helping members navigate the challenges of a competitive business environment.

TBPA hosts semi-annual conferences — one in the Spring and one in the Fall — where businesses from around the world gather for educational and business workshops covering market trends, product knowledge, industry innovation, trade conditions, and general business issues affecting the marketplace. These conferences also serve as an important venue for promoting trade among our members.
